About SIGA

SIGA Technologies, Inc. is a commercial-stage pharmaceutical company focused on health security market. The Companyís lead product TPOXX is approved by the Unites States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a drug with an indication for treatment of smallpox. TPOXX is an oral formulation, which is also known as tecovirimat and ST-246. The Company is developing the intravenous (IV) formulation for patients who are unable to swallow oral capsules. It is also focused on developing post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP), liquid suspension pediatric formulation and ST-357. PEP regimens are designed to prevent infection in individuals who have known or exposure to an infectious agent but are not symptomatic. The Company is developing a second mechanism of action smallpox small molecule antiviral drug that has shown efficacy in animal models of the disease.
