The Company focuses on acquiring and developing behavioral healthcare facilities. The Company operates through two segments: U.S. Facilities and U.K. Facilities. The Company is engaged in operating acute inpatient psychiatric facilities, specialty treatment facilities, residential treatment centers and facilities providing outpatient behavioral healthcare services. Its U.S. Facilities include approximately 224 behavioral healthcare facilities with approximately 9,500 beds in 40 states and Puerto Rico. The Company's U.K. Facilities include approximately 361 behavioral healthcare facilities with approximately 8,700 beds in the United Kingdom. The Company operates a network of approximately 588 behavioral healthcare facilities with approximately 18,200 beds in 40 states, the United Kingdom and Puerto Rico.
