Why did the price I bought or sold my investments at change? What are Trading Windows?
When you sell an investment on Stash, your transaction is queued up and executed during one of our four trading windows (two in the morning and two in the afternoon, Monday to Friday, excluding market holidays).
The price you see after the sale has settled is the price at the time we processed your sale. This means the sale price of your stock may change because we don’t sell your investment immediately when you initiate a sale.
Stash uses four trading windows because our platform is not intended for day trading but rather for long-term investing.
