Primary (classroom economy)

Primary lesson plans are designed for grades K–8+. These lessons focus on using Stash101 as an online classroom economy and classroom management system that features hands-on money management and rewards for positive behaviors. The lessons are fairly short and gradually roll out the economy for both educators and students. Lessons align to Jump$tart personal finance standards and integrate CASEL competencies. *Note—while K–8 is suggested, teachers of other grades may find these lessons appropriate. We encourage you to pick and choose the lessons that work best for you.

Secondary (Stash101 roll out, all about banking, intro to crypto)

Secondary lesson plans are designed for grades 8+ to explicitly teach personal finance skills. Key concepts build on each other in every unit and from unit to unit. Each lesson connects to a Stash101 feature, so students learn skills through an activity, apply the skills to their simulated banking lives, and then revisit those skills throughout the course. Lessons align to Jump$tart personal finance standards and integrate CASEL competencies. While grades 8+ are suggested, teachers of other grades may find these lessons appropriate. We encourage you to pick and choose the lessons that work best for you.
